Can Rabbits eat Apricot Tree Leaves and Branches?

Rabbits have a great taste for fruit tree branches. They love them because they adore the taste of them because of their taste and they also give the opportunity to wear their teeth down. Their teeth are constantly growing and so always need grinding down by chewing one something.

So can rabbits eat apricot tree leaves and branches?

Unfortunately they cant at all. This is because they cant eat anything from stone-fruit trees.

The hardwood contains arsenic and so does the leaves so if they do eat them, they will be seriously ill and may even die as a result.

If your rabbit does eat them, then do consult a vet as soon as possible.

So it is well worth keeping your rabbit’s accommodation away from any apricot trees that you may have in your back yard or garden.
