Cone flowers are native North America perennial that have daisy like flowers with raised centres. It’s root, plant and flower are used in herbal remedies and so it is widely renown for being a medicinal plant.
They are a long flowering perennial for borders, wild flower meadows and prairie gardens. They bloom midsummer to fall and the plants are relatively drought tolerant and rarely bothered by pests.
So can rabbits eat cone flowers at all?
Unfortunately they can’t. This is because cone flowers are poisonous to bunnies and will harm them if hey are eaten. They are best avoided being fed to bunnies.
