Sugar is the generalized name for sweet, short-chain, soluble carbohydrates, many of which are used in food.
They are carbohydrates, composed of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen.
It can come in a granulated state or in cubes amongst other forms.
So can rabbits eat sugar at all?
Unfortunately they can’t eat it at all.
It is extremely bad for them and will rot their teeth. Their can’t handle that level of pure sugar like we can.
If they nibble a little bit of sugar, they will be fine but it isn’t something to be purposely be fed to them.
Any foods that are high in sugar should be avoided as well.
