Acorn Squash is also called a Des Moines Squash and is a winter squash that hass a distinct sweet, yellow, orange flesh and longdititudinal ridges.
It belongs to the same species as summer squashes such as zucchini.

So if humans can eat Acorn Squash then can rabbits eat Acorn Squash at all?

Well the good thing is that they lack the starch and sugars that are not good for rabbits but they do contain oxalic acid which is not good for them.

This means that rabbits can eat acorn squash in small amounts a few times a week at the most but it is best to be kept to a minimum. However, acorn squash is a good treat for rabbits and one that they will enjoy.
