African daisies have the genus name dimorphotheca and produce a fruit with many seeds.
They are daisy flowers which produce flowers that measure between 1-1.5 inch in diameter.
These flowers close at night when in the shade and during times when there is cloud cover.
African daisies have differing variations of color such as orange, white, apricot and yellow.
They are also known as the African Cape Marigold and are renown for being garden flowers.
They are excellent for areas of naturalized growth and ground cover.
