Can Rabbits Eat Arbovitae

Arbovotae is a conoferous evergreen tree that grows about 30 ft tall. it is a member of the cypress family and grows in the US. Eastern arbovitae is the most hardy.

It is also known as Thuja and is s a genus of coniferous trees in the Cupressaceae (cypress family).

There are five species in the genus, two native to North America and three native to eastern Asia. The genus is monophyletic and sister to Thujopsis.

They are commonly known as arborvitaes, from Latin for tree of life.

So can rabbits eat arbovitae?

Yes they can eat the bark from arbovitae and  wild rabbits devour it. However, the leaves they might not be so keen on.
