Butter is a dairy which is made by churning cream or milk which is either fermented or fresh in order to separate the butterfat from the buttermilk.
Butter is usually used as a spread or a condiment and also in cooking in baking, frying or in sauce making.
It consists of milk proteins, water, and butterfat.
So can rabbits eat butter at all?
Unfortunately, rabbits cant eat butter at all. This is because they are unable to eat any dairy products.
Rabbits do not have the right bacteria to digest milk derivates in the cecum and intestine.

Eating butter will unfortunately make the rabbit quite ill.
