Coffee is a brewed beverage that is prepared from the roasted or baked seed of several species of the shrub, genus coffea. The two sources of coffee beans are the coffea aerobics and the coffea canefora. They are cultivated in more than 70 countries mainly in Latin america, South East Asia and Africa. Once hey are ripe the coffee berries are picked and processed dried to yield coffee beans. These beans are then roasted to varying degrees depending on what flavour is desired.
So can rabbits eat coffee beans at all?
Unfortunately hey can’t eat coffee beans at all. Coffee beans are poisonous to rabbits and they can’t eat them at all. If they are eaten by bunnies then they will harm them. So they are definitely a food to steer clear of.
