Dried fruit is fruit where most of the water content has been removed from it either through sun drying, naturally, or by using specialised dryers or dehydrators. It is known for its sweet taste, long shelf life and nutritive value.
Nearly half of dried fruits that are consumed are raisins, however prunes, figs, apricots, figs, peaches, apples, pears, cranberries, blueberries, cherries, strawberrries, mango, papaya, and pineapple are also eaten.
So can rabbits eat dried fruit at all?
Unfortunately rabbits cant eat dried fruit at all. It is just too sweet for them to eat and will hurt them if they eat too much of it. It is a food best avoided as far as bunnies are concerned.
They are fine to nibble a bit of it, but that is as far as it should go.
