Can Rabbits eat Honey?

Honey is a food that is made by bees using nectar from flowers.
There are various types of honey but the type which is usually referred to is that which is is produced by honey bees.
Honey gets its sweetness from the monosaccharides fructose and glucose, and has about the same relative sweetness as granulated sugar. (source)
This is the type of honey that we will refer to in this article.
So can rabbits eat honey?
Unfortunately rabbits cannot eat honey at all.
It is just too sweet for them to eat and will harm their tummies if they eat it. So it is not worth feeding them it at all.
