Iceburg lettuce is a vegetable that is eaten widely in salads or indeed on its own. Originally called ‘crisp-head’, it is known for its crispy and crunchy leaves that are well loved for their texture and taste.

So can rabbits eat iceberg lettuce at all? Rabbits are known to enjoy eating lettuce and it is written in many stories how much they enjoy it.
Unfortunately, rabbits can’t eat iceburg lettuce at all.
Its got a very high water content in it which means that if they eat it, it will give them an upset tummy.
They just can’t handle it, so iceburg lettuce is actually a food for rabbits to avoid.
