Salami is a dry, coarse and boldly seasoned sausage meat.
It has an intense flavour which comes from its lengthy process of curing when the sausage will mature in its own skin. This process makes the salami safe eat raw.
It is often named after the place it was made.
They come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, from all kinds of experiments with the curing and seasoning process.
Types of salami include french garlic sausage, Spanish chorizo, and pepperoni.
So can rabbits eat salami like humans can, and if they can how much of it can be eaten?
Unfortunately they cant. This is because they cant eat meat at all as they are herbivores.
They might well have a nibble at it but that is all, its not something that they would be keen on eating at all.
