Life is Better Rescue, Inc. 3535 S Allison St, Lakewood, Colorado 80235. Life is Better rescues animals that are in danger of euthanasia and orphaned babies needing care prior to adoption. We strive to ensure not just life, but a BETTER life, for both the animal and the adopter.

Foothills Animal Shelter. 580 Mc Intyre St, Golden, CO 80401. Foothills Animal Shelter is an open-admissions facility, which means we never turn away an animal. We care for more than 9,300 orphaned cats, kittens, dogs, puppies and critters every year with a compassionate team of staff and volunteers.

Evergreen Animal Protective League EAPL: 27888 Meadow Dr, Evergreen, CO 80439. EAPL is a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to providing aid to lost, abandoned and suffering animals through rescue, shelter and education. Since our inception in April 1981, we have provided a better life for thousands of animals.

Humane Society of Weld County. 1620 42nd St, Evans, CO 80620. Founded in 1961 the Humane Society of Weld County opened the doors to its new facility in September 1999. We are the only 501(c) 3 non-profit animal shelter in Weld County. This facility provides care and shelter to over 4,000 homeless and unwanted pets in our community each year.

Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. 610 Abbot Ln, Colorado Springs, CO 80905. Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is the largest nonprofit animal shelter in southern Colorado. They help nearly 28,000 animals every year.

Larimer Humane Society. 5137 S College Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80525. Larimer Humane Society is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and provide the responsible care and treatment of animals.

City of Montrose Animal Services. 3383 N Townsend Ave, Montrose, CO 81401. The City of Montrose Animal Services welcomes any stray animal from the City or County of Montrose.The Animal Shelter takes adoptable owner relinquished animals if we have space available. The Animal Shelter also holds animals for rabies quarantine (normally 10 days) or dangerous and nuisance animals pending a disposition by the Court. We also hold animals whose owners are involved in accidents, are incarcerated by law enforcement or have an emergency situation that is referred to us by governmental or non-profit agencies.
