Rabbit Rescues and Shelters in Georgia
Doggie Harmony: Decatur, Georgia 30031. Doggie Harmony is a non-profit (501c3), GA-licensed rescue group focused on matching right people to right dogs in Atlanta. They also take in rabbits.
Georgia House Rabbit Society: 2280 Shallowford Rd, Marietta, GA 30066. To rescue abused, abandoned and neglected domestic house rabbits. They spay and neuter, foster and find them great homes. They educate the public on the proper care of domestic house rabbits.
Gwinnett County Animal Control and Welfare: 884 Winder Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30045. They have mainly cats and dogs but do take in rabbits as well.
Gwinnett Humane Society: P.O. Box 750, Lawrenceville GA 30046. Gwinnett Humane Society does not operate a shelter. They are a volunteer-based program focused on adopting animals in our Owner Sponsor program or being cared for in temporary volunteer foster homes. Their Placement volunteers are committed to placing our adoptable dogs and cats in new, loving homes by matching the personality and needs of each animal with prospective new families.
City of Macon Animal Control Department: 1010 11th St, Macon, GA 31201. The city of Macon Animal Control Shelter is open Monday through Friday from 9:30am until 4:30pm. Their adoptions are based on a first come first serve basis.
Columbia County Animal Services: 1940 William Few Pkwy, Grovetown, GA 30813. The Animal Services Department is responsible for all animal control operations, including nuisance complaints, animal cruelty investigations, animal attacks, handling of rabid animals, dead animals, injured animals, the animal adoption program, and taking care of the animals at the Columbia County shelter.<style=’mso-bidi-font-style:normal’>
