The Kennebec Valley Humane Society is an open intake animal shelter with a mission to save and improve the lives of animals in need. KVHS is an adoption site for families or individuals looking for pets. We’re always looking for forever homes!
Coastal Humane Society: 30 Range Road, Brunswick, ME 04011. The Coastal Humane Society (CHS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, animal shelter, and companion animal adoption agency founded in 1950 by a group of Brunswick citizens concerned with the welfare of the area’s stray animals.
Friends of Willow: P.O. Box 10534, Portland, Me 04104. Friends of Willow is a private, non-profit rabbit rescue that does not receive tax dollars from government entities. At this time, FOW does not have a facility to admit domestic rabbits. Instead, we will work with potential surrendering owners or good samaritans to find a solution in their own home or through their local community, using our volunteers and network contacts.
